Files Settings
Control File
: allows you to select a control file to
use with the current job. Control files are
explained in more detail in the User’s Manual.
Note: A control file will not load if any point
name in the control file matches a point name
in the current job.
Note: When a control file is open, a note is
written to the raw data file to indicate this.
Note: See the warning under Units Settings
, above, pertaining to
distance units when using a control file.
Description File
: allows you to select a description file to use with the
current job.
This file uses codes
: check this box if the description file contains
codes and associated descriptions. Leave the box unchecked if the
description only contains descriptions (no codes).
Feature Code File
: displays the selected feature code file to use with
the current job. See the User’s Manual for more information on
feature codes.
: Allows you to select a file to use with the current job.
Simply tap on the filename and then tap .
: closes the currently selected file so that it is no longer used
with the current job.
