Note: You can match the buttons listed on the screen with the
buttons on the data collector by comparing the icons on the screen
with those printed on the physical buttons.
To change the local assignment for the selected button, select the new
function in the
Assignment Within Survey Pro
list. (The local
assignment will only affect the function of that button when it is used
within Survey Pro.)
Note: Selecting
<Global>
as a button’s local assignment results in the
local assignment being the same as the global assignment.
To change the global assignment for the selected button, select the
new function in the
Global Assignment
list.
If you want to quickly change all the buttons back to their default
assignments, tap the button to switch them back to the
Survey Pro default values, or tap to switch them
back to the Pocket PC default values.
The TDS default local assignments vary depending on if Survey Pro is
running on an iPAQ or a Recon.
